Welcome to Mrs. Cloudy's Pride -- Sphynx Cattery

We live in a beautiful little village called Edam. Edam is about thirteen miles north of Amsterdam. Edam is famous for items cheese among other things.

Edam had a rich history dating back to the Dutch Golden Century. With its many mansions the belonged to merchants working with the VOC and its many canals Edam attracts on a yearly basis hundreds of tourists from all over the world.

In one of the mansions is now a museum with a unique floating basement.

Edam is a nice place to live. There is a lot of nature and major cities are easily reached by car.

Thi year, 2007, the city of Edam conmemorates the fact that 650 yearsago the city became the rigth to be a town.

We also have had dogs, mostly Briard, French sheepdogs, now we've got a nice French huntingdog, a Petit Baset Griffon Vendeen.
